Hello hello. The situation hasnt changed. Im bloated. Im bloated just like i was when i started this diary during the first pandemic lockdown 1.0. in March. It feels like i was discovering sooo many things about me and my body and getting so much knowledge about digestion and gut flora etc etc… and here i am. Sitting in the same spot.

I had elimination diet 1.0. and it did help at the beggining. It was amazing.

Then a lost my period with 5 kilos.

Re-entering dairy and gluten wasnt successful – i didnt find out if im intolerant or not. And gut bloated again.

Did a stool test – we find out that my digestion is ‘spot on’ – apart from a tiny parasite – so i did a parasite killing oregano diet – which was a tough one. Got bit better during the oregano overdose – but had seriously horrible 2 weeks.

I tried a second elimination diet 2.0. hoping that i can get back the same great result (like in March-April) but it didnt happen – even i chose to eliminate gluten and dairy from my diet for good.

Did a kinesiology food intolerance test – saying im intolerant to dairy and carrot, orange and lentils. (eliminated these) No changes.

So i tried a LowFodMap diet. Which was b#llshit. If anything – i got even worse. Not just avoiding gluten and dairy and sugar and yeast – but avoiding a huge part of my fav vegetables and fruits and grains and seasonings (like Artichoke, Asparagus, Beetroot, Black eyed peas, Broad beans, Butter beans, Cassava, Cauliflower, Celery, Cabbage, Sauerkraut, Haricot beans, Kidney beans, Leek, Mange Tout, Mushrooms, Peas, Pickled vegetables, Red kidney beans, Savoy Cabbage, Soy beans, Scallions or any Onion… or fruits like Apple, Apricot, Avocado, Bananas, Blackberries, Blackcurrants, Cherries, Dates, Figs, Grapefruit, Mango, Lychee, Nectarines, Peaches, Pears, Pineapple, Plums, Raisins, Sultanas, Pomegranate etc etc… ) I ended up feeling awful after a whole month of doing it. (we closed out the possibility of me having SIBO or even IBS because that would have had any effect on me)

I tried coffee-free diet. I tried no breakfast ‘diet’.

Did a gluten intolerance blood test (home kit) – results came back negative showing im not celiac. (even that im avoiding gluten for 3-4 months now).

Then i did some posh tests in a private Clinic and i ve got PCOS. They put me back on contraception – hoping that this will ‘sort me out’ – easy way to get my period back and balance my hormons out. We see soon. But i have doubts… :(

footnote: very very frustrating when you pay a bunch of money (a week of my salary actually) for a single bloodtest and they dont even do it properly – they should have checked my hormons more precisely so now i would know which is the one needs support (prolactin and testosterone are normal but also we dont know when is my cycle so the datas are not ‘reliable’.

What else i tried… using plenty of supplements for gut health and easy digestion. Looks like im failing. I know PCOS can cause all of this. Influences my digestion and inflammation – coming from inside – but still i cant accept that there is nothing i can do (apart from waiting of course). First thing you read everywhere about PCOS – that with a proper diet you can almost ‘control’ your hormonal inbalances and reduce the side effects (like my inflammation). Where is that diet???

Very few people eat as good as i am. Tonns of fresh organic vegetables (cabbages, squash, tomato, broccoli, kale, parsnip, beetroot, sweetpotato, courgettes, cauliflower…), only good complex carbs (quinoa, chickpeas, buckwheat, millet, potato, rice…), i use to eat great fruits (berries, almost green bananas, avocado, oranges, apples, greapes, peaches, apricots…) now its much more less – as im not having real breakfast (no breakfast diet???). Pushing protein every day – if i dont eat fish (rare) then i make sure i eat plenty of eggs or tofu or tempeh (or cheese very rarely nowadays). Drinking red wine, lets say one bottle per week. Sugar level is kept on low – usually a couple of pieces of dark chocolate truffles will do the job for a day. AND STILL I HAVE GOOD DAYS AND BAD DAYS.

A friend said i might stuck in ‘ketosis’ – without me wanting to do the keto diet at all. It is possible as the symptomps can potenctially fit on me.

I dont really know what else to do. So yesterday i had a moment…. walking into the bakery. There was ‘doughnut friday’ – we made 1100 tiny brioche dougnuts the night before. One tray left there. And i just had a thought…. i avoid gluten and dairy for about half year now. And seems like nothing is changing – no progress and im still bloated like a balloon. So. I threw out a swear bigtime and pop a fullgluten fullsugar fulldairy doughnut in my mouth. FUK IT.

BTW. I would likr to challenge everyone who is reading me. Please – contact me somehow (here or instagram – k.kocsis) and throw me a challenge – throw me an idea what can be my trigger – and i promise i ll try an elimination week for that! Lets play with this – i really want to have some fun cause im tired of this. Give me ideas (tea, tap water, coconut, chia, banana, rice, tuna) ANYTHING ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING!!!!! Cause im really off on ideas now (no breakfast diet right ?hahahaha)

The newest i try now from today is the ‘no nuts n seeds’ one. I do consume a LOT of these as they so healthy and full of beneficial properties. So i eat them every thay at some form. Maybe that the trigger….. or Whats the next?
